Am I in perimenopause? — even when you’ve been told it’s not?

Too young. Bloods normal. Just stress. If you’ve heard one of those and something still feels off — you’re in the right place.

The Is It Peri? toolkit helps you make sense of what’s happening in your body, and walk into your next GP appointment knowing exactly what to say.

A woman in her forties sitting quietly by a window, wondering if what she's feeling could be perimenopause

You know something’s changed. You’re just not being heard.

Your sleep went first — wide awake at 3am, heart going, for no reason you can name.

Then the anxiety that came from nowhere. The rage with a hair-trigger. Walking into a room and forgetting why you’re there.

You’re snapping at people you love. You’ve Googled your symptoms more times than you can count. And quietly, you’ve started to wonder if you’re losing yourself.

You’re not. You’re not imagining it, and you’re not alone.

What you’re describing is what so many women in their 40s know intimately — not one dramatic thing, but a steady pile-up that slowly makes you feel less like you. It has a name. And there are real answers.

A navigation tool, not a diagnosis.

The Is It Peri? toolkit asks you nine quick questions about what you’re noticing — your cycle, your sleep, your mood, your body — and gives you a personalised picture of what might be going on.

It won’t diagnose you. Nothing online can. What it will do is the part the system keeps skipping: tell you whether this is worth taking to a GP, and hand you the exact words to use when you get there — so you’re not sent home with “let’s wait and see.”

This is the starting point. We’ll walk with you from here.

Three minutes. Three steps.

1

Answer nine questions.

Conversational, no medical jargon. Tick what you’ve noticed — even the bits that seem unrelated. They often aren’t.

2

Get your personalised results.

A clear read on what your symptoms might mean, framed around your age, your cycle, and what you’ve already been told.

3

Walk away with your GP Conversation Guide.

The words to say, the questions to ask, and the symptom timeline that’s far harder for a GP to wave away than “I’ve not been feeling right.”

You came for answers. You’ll leave with a plan.

  • Your personalised next steps — what your symptoms might point to, and what to do about it, tailored to you.
  • Your GP Conversation Guide — exactly what to say so you’re taken seriously, including how to respond if you’re told you’re “too young” or your “bloods are normal.”
  • Help finding a GP who gets it — pointed to menopause-informed doctors in your state, plus telehealth if there’s no one near you.

No supplements to buy. No diagnosis to fear. Just the map you should have been handed the first time you asked.

Questions women ask us

Is this a diagnosis?
No. The Is It Peri? toolkit is a navigation tool — it helps you understand what might be happening and prepare for a proper conversation with a doctor. Only a GP can diagnose perimenopause, and this is built to help you get there sooner.
I’ve been told I’m too young for perimenopause. Should I still do this?
Yes. “Too young” is one of the most common reasons women in their late 30s and 40s get sent home without help — and it doesn’t mean nothing’s happening. Perimenopause can start earlier than most women are ever told.
My blood test came back normal. Doesn’t that rule it out?
Not on its own. In perimenopause your hormones swing day to day, so a single “normal” blood test can easily miss it. That’s exactly why a symptom-based conversation matters — and why we hand you the words for it.
How long does it take?
About three minutes. Nine short questions, no jargon, no right answers.
Is it free? Do I have to give my email?
It’s free. You’ll see your results either way — we only ask for your email if you’d like us to send your results and your GP Conversation Guide so you’ve got them when you need them.
Are my answers private?
Yes. Your answers are private, and we never sell or spam. We only use them to personalise your results.
