THE PERIHELP LIST

How practitioners make the list.

No practitioner pays to be on this list, and no one can pay for placement or ranking. Here’s exactly how it works — because a list you can trust should show its working.
Nominate a practitioner
Inclusion can’t be bought.

The path from nomination to listing

1 · A woman nominates them. Almost every practitioner on the list started as a nomination from a woman they helped. Those nominations — and the stories that come with them — stay private. They tell us who to look at; they are never published as reviews.

2 · We verify the facts. For AHPRA-registered professions, we confirm current registration on the public register, with no conditions that would concern a reasonable patient. For non-registered fields, we confirm relevant qualifications and any industry association membership. We confirm the practice details are real and current.

3 · We look for a demonstrated interest in this life stage. Additional training, a stated special interest in menopause or midlife women’s health, relevant professional memberships (such as the Australasian Menopause Society for medical practitioners), or a track record of working with women in this stage.

4 · The practitioner consents. We contact every practitioner before listing them. They confirm their details, and they can decline or ask to be removed at any time. Nobody appears on this list without knowing about it.

5 · The listing is factual. Name, profession, registration type, location, telehealth, special interests, billing style, booking link. No ratings. No testimonials. No rankings within the list.

What gets a practitioner removed

Registration lapses or conditions appear on the public register · practice details can no longer be verified · the practitioner asks to come off · credible concerns are raised that our checks can’t resolve. We re-verify registered practitioners’ status periodically.

What this list is — and isn’t

The PeriHelp List is a navigation tool: it helps you find practitioners with a demonstrated interest in perimenopause and midlife women’s health, and gives you the facts to choose. It is not a clinical endorsement, a guarantee of outcomes, or medical advice. The right practitioner for you depends on your health, your history and your circumstances — and the appointment itself is where that gets worked out. (Our free tools can help you prepare for it.)

The listing criteria on this page are reviewed by PeriHelp’s clinical reviewer. Individual listings are verified by PeriHelp against these criteria. Inclusion and ranking on this list cannot be purchased. If PeriHelp ever has a commercial relationship with a listed practitioner (such as a booking partnership), it will be clearly disclosed on their listing.
